Does Opposite Day Oppose Itself?

I always wondered if it was possible to have a true opposite day. I mean, if it's opposite day wouldn't that mean we'd have to NOT celebrate it? The opposite of opposite day is not opposite day! Or could we simply claim it wasn't opposite day but still practice it? But if it's true that actions speak louder than words then just claiming it's not opposite day isn't enough. You'd have to actually oppose the entire opposite day!

Let's say (for arguments' sake) we had a real opposite day with the exception of the rule where it opposes itself. Some activities would still be impossible. How can we walk upside down? Instead of eating and drinking, we should just puke? There's so many flaws!! I say we forget about ever having this opposite day.
