Gambit the giraffe

Gambit the giraffe was a rather strange fellow. He lived with his mum under a tree in Africa. He was chatting with his dear old mum one day when she told him that she might like a peanut as a pet. �ok mummy darling�, he said, �I shall go and fetch you a baby peanut for you to look after�. So he left that day, he packed his sloth skin bag with his favourite grass and petunia flower sandwich. He headed east, along the path that lead to the animal city Umpanki. After walking for a mere 30 miles he encountered ramone the badger, �ramone old boy� he called, �what brings you out here�, to which ramone replied with a piece of sloth leg meat in his mouth �oh just by, running bring a herd of angry inexplicably large rodents and a flock of mongeese.�

The badger slapped his knee ad stroke his chin and hobbled off into the mangrove.
