A Liar
My words ran through my mouth like crazy. They didn't believe me. They believed that girl, Caley, they didn't care what I had to say, there feelings took advantage over their hearts.
I choked on my words as I spoke nervously, "Guys, I promise- I . . . I didn't talk about you!" They blew me off like a fan blowing a mist of dust.
"Cut the crap, we know you did. That's why you never talked to us anymore."
I stood in shock, that wasn't it at all. Death, was why. My mother was why.
"Believe me . . . I love you guys as my best friends!" The four of them and cornered me in the dark hallway.
"Obviously not, you didn't like us one bit, neither did we like you." Kayla spoke up, her eyes glowed with astonishment on what she had just said, the baby blue, innocent eyes changed to envy red.
"You're just a lier, you called me a whore." Amanda this time. Her lips were plump with lip gloss, and they moved in the way of anger. Nether less the lips, but she spit out anger.
"Truth is, I never liked you to start," Laurie shouted, her perfect figure added attitude. People gathered now, curious faces began to glare at me. I stepped back knocking into the green locker, my head spun with untraceable thoughts.
"If you were so true to us, why didn't you speak for an entire week? And after that, when Caley said you talked on and on about us at her sleep over, you suddenly began to deny?" Jamie stepped forward gathering more attention, I looked weak and scared but at the moment, I didn't care. I just wanted my best friends back.
I wish I could say everything about my mother, how the bullet could've made a difference . . . if it wasn't in the head. I wish I could say that I never went to Caley's house but I was too shocked.
I wish I could say, I love them as my best friends, but they would push me away.
"Just trust me-" I was cut off like a razor.
"We don't trust ANYTHING you say anymore, we don't want you to ever speak to us again." With that said by Kayla they breezed past me. Whispers of people began to nag at my ears as I paced through the crowd. There was laughter now, and giggles under breaths people took. I looked around and saw Caley, her face was screaming out "I'm a Liar!" But she didn't say one word to free me from embarresment. Instead, she watched me walk away, by myself, with no one following. She looked at the floor as people pointed at me, she knew she had done something terribly wrong and manipulating, her tears streamed down her face, just like mine did. "I'm sorry." She said as I walked away. I shook my head, and slightly prayed for happiness.
