All in a Day's Work
Today was another great day at the candy factory. Aside from all of the sweets I pick off the line all day, I also get to take home the defective candies-the ones without wrappers, the ones with messed-up printing, the ones that got crushed or pinched in the production process. I eagerly fill up my Wal-mart bag full of Snickers bars, Now-and- Laters, ring pops, and York peppermint patties. All of this sugary goodness is certainly unhealthy, but thankfully, my company provides dental insurance. On my way home, I will eat half of the candy I took. Next, I will arrive at home, ready to throw up and vowing to never again eat sugar, or even look at a candy bar wrapper. But when seven o’clock rolls around tomorrow, I will change my mind.Rating: 7.4 out of 5 votes cast
