Telephone

My girlfriend and I were on the phone for a good several hours. She fell in and out sleep often, but I wasn't annoyed. I simply asked her to go to sleep. But she refused and refused and continued on to stay on the phone while dozing in and out of consciousness. She sighed so loudly at every moment I spoke to wake her up. So I brought myself to this website, looking for a boring story to tell, so that I could gently put her to sleep. But every writing that I found seemed to have some weird story. I couldn't help but read another one over and over and over. I must have read about three or four of the long writings, pointless, yet witty at the same time. She woke up.
